Legal, privacy, and learning scope.
These policies cover mimirswell.academy, the Technology, Mind, and Science public sites, and the private Academy at learn.mimirswell.academy.
Educational purpose
Mimir’s Well provides independent educational content and practice. It does not provide academic credit, a degree, a professional license, employment placement, medical advice, mental health advice, diagnosis, treatment, legal advice, or a guarantee of any exam score, admission result, credential, or career outcome.
Content marked Available is released for use. In development means it is being built or revised. Planned means it is not released and may change.
Completion and evidence
Completion records that an Activity was finished. It is not a mastery score or a claim of professional capability. Progress may include saved answers, checkpoints, attempts, feedback, artifacts, and timestamps. Any future capability or credential claim must be supported by observable work and a published assessment standard.
Private Academy access
The Academy is protected by Cloudflare Access and a separate Mimir’s Well enrollment check. Access is limited to invited accounts and may be paused or revoked. Learners must use the email identity authorized for their invitation and must not share access.
Information the Academy stores
When you enter or use the private Academy, Mimir’s Well may store:
- your email address, display name, role, cohort, invitation status, access status, and relevant timestamps;
- Activity record keys, saved Activity payloads and exact checkpoints, completion values, and update timestamps;
- feedback you submit, including page location, page title, category, optional clarity rating, message, review status, and instructor response;
- limited operational and security logs needed to protect, troubleshoot, and operate the service.
Public pages do not create an Academy learner profile. An invitation request sent by email is handled as correspondence and should not include sensitive information.
How information is used and protected
Information is used to authorize access, restore saved work, show progress, respond to feedback, administer the closed alpha, maintain security, and improve the learning experience. Mimir’s Well does not sell learner data or publish learner records. The private Academy uses encrypted HTTPS, restrictive browser security headers, same-origin mutation checks, rate limits, Cloudflare Access identity verification, and Cloudflare D1 storage.
No online service can promise absolute security. Learners should avoid entering secrets, medical records, confidential employer data, real patient information, official exam content, or personal information about another person into an Activity or feedback form.
Retention, correction, export, and deletion
Enrollment, learner, and feedback records are retained while access is active and as reasonably needed to operate, secure, evaluate, or document the closed alpha. You may ask for a copy of your learner records, request correction of inaccurate profile information, or request deletion by emailing contact@mimirswell.academy from the email tied to your Academy account.
After identity verification, deletion removes the learner profile and associated learner records and feedback; enrollment and access-control records are removed or de-identified separately as required to complete revocation and maintain necessary security or legal records. Requests will be handled within a reasonable period.
Service providers and necessary technology
Cloudflare provides hosting, network security, Access authentication, and D1 storage. The service may use strictly necessary cookies or tokens to maintain an authenticated Access session. Links to third-party sites are governed by those sites’ policies.
Mind Well boundary
Material in the Mind Well is educational. It is not medical advice, mental health advice, diagnosis, treatment, crisis support, or a substitute for a qualified professional. If you may be in immediate danger or crisis, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource in your location.
Science and MCAT® integrity
The planned MCAT preparation program is independent educational content. It does not use, request, reconstruct, or distribute confidential exam questions or passages, and learners must not submit such material. MCAT® is a program of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). Mimir’s Well is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the AAMC. Official policies and preparation products are available from the AAMC.
Technology vendors and trademarks
Mimir’s Well is independent and is not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by Microsoft or other vendors referenced in educational examples. Microsoft, Microsoft 365, Defender, Entra, Sentinel, and Azure are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies. Other marks belong to their respective owners.
Intellectual property and acceptable use
The original text, structure, artwork, and learning materials created for Mimir’s Well are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may use the Academy for personal learning. You may not bypass access controls, interfere with the service, scrape private content, share private access, submit unlawful material, or redistribute protected Activities without written permission.
Alpha availability and changes
The Academy is under active development. Features, Paths, release states, and policies may change; saved learner data will be preserved or migrated where reasonably possible. The service may be unavailable during maintenance or incidents. Material changes to these policies will be dated on this page.
